Nope... I'm still here...

Just been busy... No fishing, just working around the house..

Ole buddy Smiley ( the one with the coon pecker) stopped by yesterday to show off some fish him and another "new" buddy of mine (Gary Donaldson from Ill), caught in some hoop nets.....
Damn nice bunch of fish... One ole flat went right close to 50 lbs...
Yep, he's trying to get me back on the river...(too)
Just haven't had time to do much fishing this year... Dang landscaping is about to get me down....
Every time I finish one job , Maw has got four more lined up..
Have heard that there are some nice bass ( I know... Bait Fish) Being caught this year on the Ohio down our way and some nice cats being caught....
I hope to be out there catchin' them soon.

I hope you have a great 4th as well Soupy. I hope to set back and enjoy today. I spent 3 hours with my daughters boy friend and a buddy of his at a junk yard taking a truck cab off the frame yesterday. As much as I did not realy want to be in the heat that long I love to look around in junk yards. Heck we even found $1.50 in change.

hey yall.....been a bad un n a good un.....granbabies left yesterday at 11 fer rockford...goin back ta my daughter...had big cookout fer everyone but i werent good company attal is told...lil mermaids shovin me in the truck in few n were goin ta git shad...yep soupy BAIT !!!!...shes a tellin me im gonna go fishn tmorrow ifn shes gotta drag me....first trip this year,mite jus even git some pics

I'm still moving dirt and landscapin'. Maybe in a week or two I'll be back on the water.......
It's done got hot again.....So, I'll probably wait 'till she cools down a little or a good rain.

no pics river was still up too high n we went wadin....got a few smallies...couple channels n 1 flathead bout 23 lbs......flathead came from ...ya guessed it...hoggin lol.....now my dang ankles all swelled up gain though ....had a good relaxin time...now ta start a workn on the ole bobber boat n maybe git me a biggun
