I've got 2 or 3 old Johnsons and a few parts. I have a 1955, 35 horse, long shaft that runs like a top. I'd love to see sombody runnin' it. I bought a new short shaft, notched my transom and won't be buildin' the transome back up for a long shaft. Anybody interested or that colloect junk like that can just ask for more info here. I'm the second owner and have the owners manual with it.

$100.00, you pay freight. (Yep, that is one hundred dollars. I'd just like someone to get some use out of this old motor).
This motor used the dual line fuel tanks. Some SOB stole them out of the boat. Luckily it is just new enough that the place to mount a fuel pump was already on the motor. I had a fuel pump put on and now it uses a single line fuel tank ( like the new, 6 gallon single line tanks. Works fine.) This is actually quite an improvement.
New coils. Compression is as good as it gets. Tiller steer. Pull start.
I have several old props that go with it. Most I suspect will need rebuilt. I had put in a new water pump, but the motor has been stored in my basement for about 3 years.
If you're interested. Ask all the questions you can think of. I'll try to move some junk and get some pictures of the motor.
Last time I had it serviced the mechanic managed to strip the threads in one spark plug hole. I had a heli-coil put in by a professional. It is as good as new and should last forever if you do not over torque the spark plugs.
When I took it off the boat this old Seahorse ran great, shifted great and the sound was pure music as I powered down to put 'er on the trailer.

Oh ok, Sounds great, but being out of work right now I'm sure someone will grab it before I can raise the $$. Where do you live? There was a old motor on our boat when I bought it years ago, But it was trash & the lil' motor on it now just don't have it to push it good, Plus, It needs some work too & hard to find stuff for it. Maybe I'll see if I can sell it to buy the one you have.

What ever he bids I will up it by 35 cents and throw stinkiesdaddy in for free!!! Just kidding! I had a motor like that a few years back. Had it hooked to the back end of a 16 foot boston Whaler. Great boat, great motor, use to run from the river behind my house to the shore for fishing and skiing. Some no good bum stole the boat from my dock and ran it into a bridge. All gone! Nice motor, good luck with it!
