I've never had much luck with store bought doughballs and stink baits down here in Fla. I sun cure chicken livers and keep em hid in the freezer. Take an old cookie sheet and cover it with a layer of cheap "Dollar Store" garlic salt. Put a layer of livers on the garlic salt then cover with more g-salt. Put the livers out in the sun all day. Bring em in and put em in sealer bags and freeze or refridgerate em till its time to go fishin. The livers will toughen up and stay on the hook longer and the cats love the garlic smell.

You are good for something..... I never thought about doing them livers like that....( Note to self.. Go to Dollar store today).

That is a great idea. I have used livers on and off but nevr like that. Thanks Pegleg I will give it a try.
