I'm Stinky the real catcher of fish in this family. Thought I would share the old mans brisket recipe with y'all while he ain't lookin!
daddys brisket recipe
1 briskett trimmed ti bout 1/2" of fat leeft 1 bottle of claudes marinade or your choice bbq sauce of your choice a whole bunch of alu foil the heavy duty stuff
Take the briskett and in ject dout 1/4 of a bottle of marinade into the meat place meat onto a big pan and pour in 1/2 of remaining marinade place pan into reefer 4 24 hrs after 24 hrs remove briskett and place it on a big piece of foil, big enuff to cover briskett 2 times fold foil over and seal all 3 edges tightly forming a bag w/ the top left open pour remaining marinade into the bag and seal tight continue to wrap brisket in foil 3 more times sealing tightly as you go place it in a cake pan and cover the pan in foil but leaving enuff of an air pocket to form a tent place in oven at 230 deg for 10 hrs or less depending on the size of your meat when done remove all the foil and place on a very hot bbq grill and baste with bbq sauce this will only take bout 5 minutes you are only braizing the outside of the meat, if it falls apart when flipping its ok its posed to, when meat is glazed and a lil crispy on the skin remove it from heat and slice across the grain heat remaining bbq sauce and and serve hot warm cold it dont matter cuz its good ne way
