Buy a boneless pork butt about 5#. Cut into three chunks. Season with salt and pepper. Slice two medium onions and spread em in the bottom of the crockpot. Shake some hot pepper flakes over the onions then put in a splash of liquid smoke. Put the meat in and add about a cup and a half of apple cider or apple juice and a cup of water. The liquid should just cover the pork. Cook on high for about ten hours or till the meat is fallin apart. Strain the juice from the meat and onions. Shred the meat and return it to the crockpot. Add about a cup of your favorite BBQ sauce, mix and cook for around an hour on low. Serve on your favorite type buns with some tater salad or chips
