OK Boys and Girls !
Git your popcorn and soda pops ready....
Ole Lyndell (that's with two L's) stopped by yesterday... He was just checkin' to see if I was ready to get the Yacht out... For those that don't know or remember what "The Yacht" is....Well, it's my boat (duh).. Known as The RedNeck Yacht out of Camp BUD ,KY...( just up river from Caseyville,KY).... Yep, she is... Put new tach-o-meter in her a few weeks ago and got 'er all gassed up...
He's a tellin' me that he "IS" ready to start makin' some new stories.....I mean he's ready to start fishin' again...
I hope this year is gonna be the year.................The year we catch that Big'un we'd been after all this time we've been fishin' together..
Yep, that hundred pounder ...
It's been might near five years now since we have pulled a big'un in the Yacht but, we are goin' after him again this year...
Gonna be tryin' some different stuff this year ( which is gonna be kept secrete 'til we catch him)... New and bigger baits... Some new fishin' equipment, might even change and put some stronger line on our reels...Don't think this hundred pound stuff is gonna hold the fish we're gonna catch this time...

Some pretty good deals on ebay. Watch out for the shipping charges though. Some have free shipping. What camera do you like. I recently bought a Kodak 9 megapixel point and shoot because the 5 mp we have at the office is great and takes really good pics. The one I bought is junk. Pics are sorry. Both are easyshare point and shoot. Guess I bought a different model, I'm really dissappointed and plan to get another camera as soon as I can.

I know I'm late sayin' what I was gonna do today.... I just forgot to post it this AM....
Best thing that happened to me today was I woke up and my feet hit the floor.
The next thing... I heard a ruckus on the back porch.. went to see to what it was all about and Bingo ! Had me a young coon in my live trap...Dang things eatin' me outta house and home...
Got rid of him then spent the day cleanin' my meltin' pots up for next weeks pour....Ifin' I don't come up with some good lead soon....It'll be a short week.
Got me an email tonight tellin' me that I've bought me one of them Pontoon thingies.....Don't know how big it is or if it even has a motor on it or what....
The young lady just said : bring me $250.00 and come get it...So ... I see a Road Trip this week.
She did say that the floats didn't leak... That's good enuff for me.
Don't worry... if and when I get it I'll have pictures.

Well, it's a nuther one of them days.....Wet,nasty and cold. Looks like winter is tryin' to come back in on use....Had plans today to finish pourin' my lead and it looks like a good day to do it.
Don't know about you guys but, they I think ... A man can't never have too many sinkers when it comes to fishin'..
I do have to try to get a hold of a young lady over around Central City,KY today... She says she has me a pontoon that I'm lookin' for....I really hope it is...
Why a pontoon you ask....I'm gonna build me one of them redneck fishin' boats on it....
A small ( but,light) cabin on it with about a 40 horser pushin' it , so I can do some real winter fishin'.. Gonna have me a Stainless Double Sink in her for fish cleanin' and a funnel ,so I can take a leak anytime I want to without steppin' out into the bad weather... A small heater so I can keep my feet and fingers warm a place for a nice size cooler so I'll have a place for my fillets when I get 'em done...
Bad part is... It'll probably take me two years to build the dang thing...
Oh well... Man's gotta have a dream.

Yep... Takin' pictures '.. 'cause Maw come home from Wally-World ( you know that's where she works) yesterday and had me a brand new camera just so I could take pictures..Cheap one but, it'll do.
It's an Olympus 35 digital E-420 10.0 Megapixel.. Maw calls it my "Everything Present"... I reckon y'all know what that means.. Not to expect anything else for the next two years for my birthday...Anyhow Boys, get ready. It's comin' !

Crap! It's cold..........It's snowin' and I'm stuck at home...................Reckon I'll go make some sinkers.....
By they way.... I did buy that pontoon I was lookin' at... Going after it Thursday or Friday... Gonna build me a RedNeck Fishin' Cabin on the river. Now this is gonna be a story to watch for...

I can see it painted in Camo, with smoke coming out of a little chimney while cruising up/down the river.
OR....A big fireball because someone put in a pot bellied stove instead of a space heater with propane.

Lot of potential there Soupy. I can see many happy hours on the water (after all the hard work is done), with that pontoon platform. Sounds like somethin' I'd like.

Always wanted to have one , after I see them two boys ,I think up on the White or Kentucky River... But they had Paw in a john boat pushin' theirs down the river.
I'm waitin' for my little buddy to call me now to see if and when we are leavin' out this AM to go get 'er.

You should like that camera Soup, I have a Olympus ES500 I have had for about 3 years and ut is awesome. Mine only has 8 megapixel so you should get great pictures.

The office camera is a Kodak 5.0 megapixel Easyshare. It takes absolutely great pics ... so I bought a Kodak, Easyshare, 9.2 megapixel ... it absolutely sux.
I'm saving for something else. My Olympust 4 meg beats this piece of crap. The Olympus is bigger though. I like the portability of a point and shoot.
Had a Nikon coolpix. Might go back to one of those now that they have image stabalization.
